Highly accurate automatic measurement of glass thickness distributions. The glass thickness profiler GPM has the function to execute a fast and precise determination of the thickness profile of flat glass samples or another transparent material with a thickness range from 30µm to 700µm (option with sensor type 1) and width to 1200mm. The measuring point distance of the profile measurement can be varied over a micro-step-controlled positioning steering between 0.1mm and 1mm. The measured value accommodation for a scanning point takes place with the help of a special hardware module for image processing algorithms within 40 ms. The entire measuring time for a sample results thus as product from the sample width which has to be measured, the measuring point distance and the measuring time per measuring point.

The Model 480 is a laboratory grade fluxmeter, for use with a Helmholtz coil or custom search coils. This instrument measures the total flux of a magnet part, which can be related to the magnetic field strength. Applications include magnet testing, magnetizing, and automated field measurement. In order to provide accurate and repeatable measurements, automatic or manual drift compensation is available to the user. A peak mode allows even the fastest magnetic pulse, such as those from a magnetizer, to be accurately measured. The Model 480 is also useful for measuring AC fields that are too high in frequency for a gaussmeter to detect. Relay outputs and an external reset input allow for simple automation functions to be implemented, while the RS232C and IEEE-488 ports permit advanced control of the fluxmeter via a remote computer or automation equipment.

ADLINK PXI-7921 is a relay multiplexer which consists of 24 2-wire relays (DPDT, 2 Form C). As a multiplexer, the PXI-7921 provides 48x1 1-wire, 24x1 2-wire and 12x1 4-wire configurations. Users could choose one of the configurations by software. PXI-7921 typically connects one instrument, such as a DMM, a digitizer or a signal source, with many points which need measurement or excitation. The contact position of the relays can be changed either by direct software commands or by following the instructions previously stored in the on-board scan list. The scan list advances upon the trigger from external measurement devices, such as a DMM. The scan list could also advance when the scan-delay timer expires. For a system using a three-electrode potentiostat, we measured current when a potential is applied between the working electrode and the reference electrode. Passage of current through an electrical circuit requires electron transfer reaction between the working electrode and the counter electrode.The main function of the counter electrode is to provide the location of the second electron transfer reaction. Important parameter of the counter electrode is the surface area. It is required (area) large enough to support the current generated for the working electrode. For example, the surface area of the platinum electrode of 5 cm is sufficient to use as an electrode, such as steady-state cyclic voltammetry experiments. However, for generating a high current measurements such as bulk electrolysis, the counter electrode of a larger area is required, as Catalog No.012961 which the length of platinum is 23 cm. This electrode is used for measurement, such as rotating ring disk.
