Connections are made via high quality RF coaxial connectors, SMA or N-Type for 50 Ω and 1.6/5.6 in 75 Ω versions. Remote versions can support up to three SPDT relays in a single slot.

The GX6196 is a 6U PXI switch and control board that can be used to create custom switching, signal conditioning, or specific UUT control interfaces. The board provides 96, 2 pole, form A relays, 8 digital I/O lines, and a serial digital interface. All of these resources are available via (5) inter-board connectors which interface to the user defined daughter / mezzanine board. The mezzanine board provides all connections to the unit under test (UUT) via two 78 pin D-sub connectors. The GX6196 is supplied with a front panel which accepts (2) 78 pin D-sub connectors.

Clock Drivers

Multiple timing signals ("clocks") are required by CCDs, IR FPAs, and some CMOS image sensors to transport electrical charge across the array to a sense amplifier for conversion into image data. Pulse Instruments offers a line of "clock drivers" for generating these timing signals. The parameters of these clocks (clock rate, pulse width, pulse amplitude, rise- and fall-times, etc.) greatly influence the behavior and performance of the imaging device. Our products take logic-level inputs from a pattern generator and allow the user to adjust the output parameters to suit their device and testing requirements. Clocks can be "tweaked" in real-time to determine optimal operating parameters for a particular device, or else programmed in accordance with a test plan for automated production test.

The input impedance is 75 ohms with a signal level of 1 VPPper RS-343A with sync on green. The output characteristic being 1 VPP into 75 ohms per RS-343A which can drive a minimum of 110 feet of cable.The PCI900 receives only power from the PCIe bus and has no other connection to the PCIe bus.

The TLC5940 is a 16 channel PWM unit with 12-bit duty cycle control (0-4095), 6 bit current limit control (0-63), and a daisy chainable serial interface. This breakout board is a good way to take full advantage of this useful IC. All 16 PWM channels are broken out to standard 0.1" headers, which run alongside convenient voltage and ground rails. Also, because the TLC5940 can be daisy-chained, the breakout is designed to support that feature.
