The LIDAR sensor requires 5V to operate but runs on 3V3 logic. With a 5V boost circuit and an easy-to-use Qwiic connector you can power the sensor and get distance measurements over Qwiic all with a single piece of hardware.

The transducer generates a signal from the pressure imposed upon it.Torque: Measures the torque (or twisting motion) on a static or rotating system. Rotary or dynamic torque is more complicated as the signal needs to be transferred using slip rings, wireless telemetry or rotary transformers/inductance technology so that the strain gauged shaft can continuously rotate.Displacement: Measures distance.
