PD5031 is an IP67 outdoor, weather resistant, DC blocking, three way, RF broadband, 50 ohm, power divider, power combiner furnished with N type coaxial connectors. The passive Wilkinson design passes RF, 10 MHz and DC current through one port, typically for powering an active antenna, with the other ports blocking DC. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked ports is 50 VDC. All wireless band applications in the frequency range from 698 to 2700 MHz are covered with best in class RF performance. The RoHS compliant PD5031 is a bidirectional device capable of 40 W max microwave input power level in both power splitter and combiner apps. RF transmitters used in close proximity to the human body must be evaluated against human Exposure standards which set basic restrictions for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) of RF energy by any part of the human body. This may include two-way radios, cellular phones, smartphones, spread spectrum, Bluetooth devices, wireless EFTPOS terminals and WLAN devices used in PDA/notebook/laptop/tablet computers. In Australia and Europe, virtually all devices exceeding the power threshold of 20mW (13dBm) and used in close proximity to the human body must comply with SAR requirements. There is no such blanket exemption in the USA and Canada where each product must be assessed against frequency/power level criteria.
