  • 4U CompactPCI® Enclosure for 3U Cards

    MIC-3022 - Advantech Co. Ltd.

MIC-3022 is a 4U enclosure designed to host up to 8 CompactPCI 3U cards connected via a 32bit 33MHz or 66MHz PCI bus or serial bus. The chassis can be powered by PICMG2.11 CPCI power supplies or an ATX 400W power supply for cost sensitive applications. A CPCI power supply supports a wide range of applications in the industrial market requiring a robust, compact and reliable platform. Rear transition modules can be installed for each of the 8 slots to support I/O extension. The MIC-3022 enclosure is available for two kinds of backplanes; Legacy backplane provides up to 8 peripheral PCI slot while the hybrid backplane offers three PCI slots and four serial slots. Being a hybrid system, it offers an uncomplicated and cost effective migration solution from parallel 3U CompactPCI® to serial CompactPCI® via the CompactPCI PlusIO standard instead of a bridge or an active logic. To save peripheral slots, there are two SATA connectors reserved on hybrid backplane by cable connection for storage extension. The chassis can be powered by PICMG2.11 CPCI power supplies or an ATX 400W power supply for cost sensitive applications. Four high performance fans provide adequate air flow to all slots, enabling system configurations which can be used in extended temperature environments. With the support of front swappable power supplies and add-in cards as well as a simplified fan replacement mechanism built in, systems based on the MIC-3022 can support a MTTR of 5 minutes or less.

  • ArgoBot Kit

ROB-00001 - Playing With Fusion Inc

The ArgoBot Full Kit is a fully assembled robot and controls development platform. It is based on the Digilent chipKIT WF32(TM), a WiFi enabled development platform, and configured for LabVIEW targeting. Most importantly ArgoBot was designed with FIRST Robotics Competition teams in the front of our minds! Named after the FRC Team 1756 mascot, Argos, the ArgoBot development platform includes a fully-assembled, ready to drive mini WiFi enabled robot (about 8" x 5" x 4"), as well as tons of FRC controls tutorials and example code (LabVIEW VIs). Features included on the ArgoBot will look very familiar to anyone who has worked with National Instruments products (Compact RIO and RoboRIO) in the past. This includes three 5V Digital I/O modules (with jumpered pull-ups), three 5V analog inputs, and an I2C header. Example VIs have been streamlined to enable a 1-click configuration style to accelerate your development process. We also added a 2-channel motor driver that is used to supply the ArgoBot drive motors. Our ultimate goal is that everything you can build, control or implement on ArgoBot can be easily leveraged on your FRC bot! Complimenting its many electrical features, ArgoBot is easy to work with and easy to maintain. The chassis is a polycarbonate (the extremely tough stuff that is easy to drill and modify but easily takes bumps and bruises without cracking) case that is fully intact - meaning that ArgoBot doesn't just come with a case... it is a case! Clean-up and organization is simple - just close the case and turn off the power switch.

  • PXI Carrier Module For SwitchBlock

    NI

The PXI Carrier Module for SwitchBlock can hold up to six Matrix Modules for SwitchBlock while occupying four PXI slots. By connecting multiple SwitchBlock relay cards through the carrier's integrated analog bus, you can easily create large matrices with more than 2,000 crosspoints in four PXI slots and more than 8,000 crosspoints in a single PXI chassis. Each Matrix Module for SwitchBlock comes in an A-type version, which serves as the first matrix building block and offers row and column access through the front connector, and a B-type version, which serves as an expansion module and only provides column access through the front connector. Typically, SwitchBlock systems contain one A-type module and numerous B-type modules.
