A four-channel silicon-based thermopile in a TO-5 package. Each small active area is 1.2mm x 1.2mm . Time constant of 25ms with Nitrogen encapsulation gas. Delivers a very low Temperature Coefficient of Responsivity of -0.04%/C. This detector has a very short thermal shock response to ambient temperature change.

Time constant of 18ms with Nitrogen encapsulation gas delivers a very low Temperature Coefficient of Responsivity of -0.4%C. This detector has a very short thermal shock response to ambient temperature change.

The N4952A error detector supports PRBS or user patterns and operates up to 32 Gb/s in a single band with no gaps or missing data rates. The remote head allows the test equipment to be located very close to the device under test, eliminating the need for long cables that degrade signal quality.
