The Keysight PZ2120A is a cost-effective, high-speed precision source / measure unit (SMU) featuring best-in-class narrow pulse width, fast Digitizer Mode, and seamless current measurement ranging. It enables narrow-pulsed measurements and fast dynamic measurements with a wide dynamic range for a wide range of emerging applications such as vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) optical devices and integrated circuit (IC) testing. In addition, its low measurement noise performance enables measurements with shorter aperture times, and its seamless current measurement ranging function enables a wide dynamic range and eliminates range change time, which improves test throughput.

The Model CS-48-100 is a multi-channel, programmable current source. Developed for both semiconductor and digital superconductor electronics, it is computer-controlled and features 48 low noise current source outputs. Each source output has the capability to both set and read back currents and can be set to a zero current high Z mute state. Each of the 48 sources are optically coupled for control and are sourced from their own secondary winding for complete galvanic isolation. The device consumes a maximum of only 80 W and handles a maximum load current of 4.8 A total over all outputs. Operating over a range of 0-100 mA on each channel, the device features accuracy of +/-25 ?A. The mute state can be set thru a rear panel interlock or from the front panel button for maximum circuit protection. The unit can be mounted in a standard-sized rack.

Analog Devices current mirrors are precision, high dynamic range, wide variable supply parts used for optical power monitoring, voltage biasing with current monitoring, and voltage-to-current conversion. Our current mirrors can monitor current down to as little as 3 nA and as much as 3 mA, with a linearity of 1% or better. The current dynamic range is 120 dB or 6 decades of current range, while the overcurrent protection feature in our devices forces the input pin to ground to avoid part damage. Over temperature (–40°C to +85°C) and process, the dynamic range only suffers 10 dB at the lower end of the range.
