Light Sources
There are many low cost artificial light sources used for illumination or for industrial applications: tungsten or halogen bulbs, fluorescent lamps, LED lamps etc. Some of these sources have regulated intensity of emitted light. However, there very few calibrated light sources of precisely known parameters. A light source can be considered as calibrated when its user can precisely regulate its photometric/radiometric parameters like luminance (or illuminance), radiance (or irradiance) at defined spectrum of interest. Such light sources are needed in many applications among them, in systems for testing night vision devices, VIS-NIR cameras and SWIR imagers. Solar Simulator Continuous Light
This type of solar simulator uses Xenon high pressure arc lamps as light source. These lamps have a colour temperature near 5800 K, so it is feasible to filter the light output to an excellent AM 1.5 spectrum. If a tuneability of the spectrum is required, these lamps can be combined with tungsten lamps to achieve multi-source solar simulators. These can be used to measure tandem/triple/multijunction solar cells. They also allow detailed analysis of all types of solar cells using a spectral metric (see : Publication List).

LCG-1600 Goniophotometeric System carries out measuring methods of fixed location and rotating luminaires. The measured luminaire is installed on the two-dimension rotating table, using “+” laser to make the luminaire lighting center superposed with the rotating center of rotating table.
