M2T Transmitter
The M2T half-rack transmitter houses two stereo transmitters to provide two stereo audio channels, and for up to four mono audio channels in a single rack space. The audio inputs can be individually configured to be analog or Dante compatible. The analog input connectors are full-size XLR/TRS combo types for balanced line-level analog signals while the input preamp circuits use a special balanced amplifier with very high common mode rejection to minimize hum and noise. A Dante™ Ultimo™ interface via dual RJ45 connectors accepts Dante networked audio inputs and can daisy chain the digital stream to additional units via CAT6 cables. An additional RJ45 jack provides an Ethernet connection for programming and control via Wireless Designer™ software and a USB jack on the front panel allows for firmware updates. The sound level meter HD 8701 is a portable instrument, easy and quick to use, suitable for measuring industrial and civil noise levels. The noise levels can be read easily in dB (A) on the large liquid crystal display which also shows all the information concerning the mode of operation of the instrument. One second after switching on and with a resolution of 0.1 dB, the digital reading gives the continuously updated value of the RMS sound pressure level, with a type A frequency weighting.
