The Kanomax Piezobalance Dust Monitor 3521/3522 is a unique respirable aerosol monitor, providing direct mass concentration of particulates using PIEZOBALANCE technology; ideal especially for oil mist monitoring. The Kanomax 3521 is equipped with 4 and 10µm impactors while the 3522 is equipped with a 2.5µm impactor. Unlike conventional dust meters, which count particles, a piezobalance dust meter like the 3521 or 3522 “weighs” mass concentration of particulates. As an air sample enters the system, it travels through the impactor, which captures and removes larger particulates away from the sample. Smaller particulates become electrically charged and deposited on the piezo-crystal. The total mass of the deposited particulates affects the piezo-crystal’s frequency. Since the change in frequency is proportional to the mass of the particulates, the actual weight of the particulates is obtained.

Accordingly, it is unnecessary to synchronize the stuffing speed with the pump speed by every product. Also, the pressure shortagegenerated when the pump motor starts and the effect of pressure fluctuation in the pipe due to the changes of the speeds of the pump motor and stuffing machine can be minimized so that it is possible to supply stably the materials to plural stuffing machines.

The system is fitted with a solid load injection valve that can be bypassed if you decide to perform a liquid injection. RFID technology comes standard and automatically reads the size and type of RediSep or RediSep Gold® column being used for the purification. Based on this information, a default gradient and flow rate are programmed into the system. Simply insert the column into the stand, press Play and the run starts. This same RFID technology automatically reads the rack type being used ensuring there is never a missed or overfilled tube. Active solvent and waste level sensing, along with column air purge, is standard is standard on the NextGen 300+.
