Grid Simulators

Grid Simulators

A grid simulator can be used to simulate the characteristics of low-voltage mains. For this purpose, all voltages and frequencies of the supply networks occurring worldwide can be simulated. Critical states such as short-term voltage dips or voltage peaks (surge/burst) can also be generated.

The integrated sequencer function enables the generation of different network parameters, e.g. distorted waveforms and intermediate oscillations. Therefore, grid simulators are well suited for testing conformity to standards and especially for determining the behaviour of electrical equipment in borderline situations. Many European and other international standards are pre-programmed for testing.
