The research level of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), PPF and PPFD measures the PPFD measurement of the
outdoor environment, the canopy of the plant in the greenhouse and the growth room, and the PPFD measurement of the reflection or under the canopy (transmission) in the same environment. Quantum sensors are also used to measure ppfd in water environments, including saltwater aquariums where corals grow.
