The DP-1 Platinum-Plated Glassy Carbon Electrode provides a platinum surface on a glassy carbon base for electrochemical experiments that need noble-metal activity, high conductivity, and stable working-electrode behavior. It is commonly used for electrocatalysis screening, hydrogen and oxygen reaction studies, modified electrode preparation, and general laboratory electrochemistry where a platinum surface is required but a solid platinum electrode is not necessary.
