The PAS 9816/AO provides sixteen analog output channels with sixteen bit resolution on a standard 6U x 160mm VME card. Analog output voltage range is ± 10 Volts with ± 5 mAmp output current drive per channel. Settling time is 3 uSec typically and 4 uSec maximum.

The PAS 9715/AO provides thirty-two, twelve bit analog voltage output channels on a 6U VMEbus card. VME systems with A16, A24, or A32 addressing are supported, and data writes of 16 or 32 bits can be used. Pluggable jumpers are used to configure the width of the address bus and the data bus width is specified by the instruction type.

Highspeed voltage output DAC’s, with 6 uSec typical settling times are used on this card .The DAC output signals are available on a 37 pin D connector mounted through the front panel. The output amplifiers are capable of supplying 50 mAmps of current, and will accept power supply voltages up to +/- 100 Volts. The total power dissipated by the amplifiers must be considered for each application to determine if the amplifier will drive the load.
