NAI’s 75C5 is a 3U cPCI Multifunction I/O and Communication Board with three independent function module slots. Two of the slots can be configured with a variety of I/O and communication functions; the third, with either a combination module featuring four multiplexed Analog-to-Digital (A/D) channels and 28 Discrete I/O programmable channels, or with a reference power supply. Using multiple DSPs, the enhanced motherboard enables higher processing power and dedicated pre-processing control for each module.

Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems are used to collect information for the purpose of documenting or analyzing an electrical or physical phenomenon, for example: temperature or pressure. They serve as a focal point in tying a wide variety of sensors together that indicate temperature, flow, level or pressure. The sensors convert a physical occurrence into a measurable electrical signal, which can be factored into command and control decisions. These high-speed DAQ systems feature different analog and digital input and output modules that can be used with a wide range of signal types including 4-20 mA current, thermocouples, and RTDs.

NAI’s 56RS1 is a 300 Watt AC/DC Power Supply that accepts multiple AC inputs plus a +270 VDC input. This COTS unit provides a single full-power output at a baseplate temperature of +85° C.Standard features include remote error sensing; remote digital (TTL) turn on/off; and protection against transients, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuits. Options such as ESS vibration testing and choice of output voltages are available, and additional options and special units can be ordered.

These channels can incorporate up to four Digital-to-Synchro/Resolver Simulation Converters with 1.5, 2.2, or 3 VA drive capability, or either two or four Digital-to-LVDT/RVDT Simulation Converters. One of the outputs on each channel can be grounded without affecting performance.

4 Relay Channels, Latching
RY2
The RY2 module features 4 individual single-pole, user SPDT Form C (changeover/break-before-make type) relays (channels). Each channel has a common input terminal (C), a normally closed output terminal (N/C), and a normally open (N/O) output terminal. The channel either energizes or de-energizes the relays (close or open) so that the signal provided on (C) may be switched/directed to either the (N/C) or (N/O) terminals.

This power supply accepts either a single- or three-phase input and provides up to 5 standard VME outputs plus standby at 300 Watts. It is designed for VME and general purpose applications. An onboard microcontroller allows for design flexibility.Standard features include continuous Background Built-in-Test (BIT); remote error sensing; holdup time; and protection against transients, overvoltage and short circuits. Options such as power fail warning, vibration testing, over-temperature monitoring and shutdown, current share, and extensive signaling (including ANSI/VITA) are available.
