Dynamic Engineering
Dynamic Engineering products are designed and manufactured in the USA. The majority of assembly work is done in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in California. Since 1988 we have developed engineering, purchasing, assembly, and test capabilities to guarantee reliability in our products. This is evidenced by our AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications. Dynamic Engineering has a wide product line with embedded solutions for PCIe, PCI, PMC, XMC, IndustryPack, cPCI, cPCIe, PCI-104, PC104e, VME and VPX. We also work with custom requirements. Solutions include adapters/carriers to install one embedded format [i.e. PMC] into another [i.e. PCIe], utilizing available positions in current systems with existing or upgraded hardware. Other solutions include standard bus interfaces for example: SpaceWire, 1553, and HOTLink. Custom designs are frequently implemented for special purpose buses and interfaces. Additionally, Dynamic Engineering provides chassis, power supplies, backplanes, breakouts, cables and other support functions to complete each solution. Each IP-ReflectiveMemory can be used as a standard node or as the Master Node. Clearly labled "DIP Switches" are provided to make the selection of Master or Standard Node, and the Node Address. The Network is based on using LVDS signaling over Ethernet cabling. Nodes automatically come up for pass through operation.

With the PCIBPMCx2´s two slots; a PrPMC can be matched with another PMC to make a high bandwidth processing node. Utilize SpaceWire to communicate with the European Space Agency and NASA equipment utilizing the ECSS-E-50-12A specification. SpaceWire is configured using routers to create a heirarchical point-to-point system with high speed parallel paths. PMC SpaceWire implements SpaceWire in a convenient PMC format. With PMC you can install the adapter into PCI [PCIBPMC], cPCI [cPCI2PMC], or processor board pmc slots. The SpaceWire specification calls for LVDS signaling and a specific 9 pin micro-D connector. You can connect the PMC-SpaceWire to other SpaceWire compliant devices without electrical interface issues.

IP-CAN when coupled with the Dynamic Driver "knows" what slot it is in and which carrier it is installed into. The IndustryPack compatible IP-Tape design adds 48 digital parallel IO lines to one slot of your carrier board. The IO is dedicated to a DTC interface. Other interfaces can be implemented. The DTC interface has 22 Address, 16 Data plus Parity, 4 control and 5 status lines. Parity is automatically generated in write mode and checked in read mode.

Cable Assembly Crypto / Tape

The Cable Assembly Crypto / Tape provides a method of interconnecting the IP-Crypto and IP-Tape from the carrier to the PCI Bezel [rear IO] when installed into a PCI machine. Most IP Carriers have 50 pin headers suitable for ribbon cable in use for the IP Module IO. The headers are located on the carrier and internal to the chassis. Interconnecting to the outside world can be an issue.
