This is an eight-, four-, or two-port, asynchronous, serial communication board designed for use on the PC/104 bus. It supports RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 communications. The board may be installed in any standard PC/104 stack. Connections are made via two 40 pin IDC type right angle connectors. Common applications include POS, gaming systems, machine monitoring, military and high-density networking.Type 16780 UARTS are used as the asynchronous communication elements.

Model PCI-A12-16A is a multifunction, analog-to-digital, digital-to-analog, and digital I/O card. It accepts up to 16 single-ended inputs or eight differential inputs. Inputs are protected against over-voltage conditions up to ±35 volts and typically survive static discharges beyond 4000 volts. Conversions can be initiated in any one of three ways: (a) software command, (b) external start commands, or (c) on a timed basis using on-board programmable counters. Converted data may be transferred to the computer by one of two software selected methods: (a) polling for the end-of-conversion signal, or (b) by generating an Interrupt when the end-of-conversion signal occurs.

The difference between the models is that I/O connections to PCI-DIO24D are via a standard 37-pin D-sub connector while I/O connections to PCI-DIO24H are via a 50-pin connector. The cards are 4.80 inches long (122 mm) and may be installed in any 5V PCI-bus slot in IBM and compatible personal computers.

The 104-AIM-32 is an analog signal multiplexer conforming to the PC/104 standard. The card will multiplex and condition 16 differential or 32 single-ended analog signals before passing them to an analog-to-digital converter card like the 104-AIO12-8. A system may comprise one to seven of these cards in tandem with one 104-AIO12-8 A/D converter board. The 104-AIM-32 card may be used as part of a large data acquisition system. The 104-AIM-32A Kit consists of one 104-AIM-32 and one 12-bit 8-input A/D board.
