6TL Engineering
6TL is a pioneer in applying the modularity concept to the design of Automated Test Equipment for electronics products. FastATE® Technology is the core to developing turn-key solutions that are truly modular, scalable and flexible, and thus we help to make the job of both test engineers and budget managers much easier. Thanks to FastATE, test engineers do not have to address the recurrent tasks of every project: a 6TL module completes these tasks for them. Each module selected is a high-level block that covers a function of the ATE and works together with the rest making in the end a real modular and flexible production test solution. The resulting test solution will be easily documented and will smoothly become the standard for the production, since the standardization is in the genetics of the FastATE® Technology.

The YAV90PNE is a complete “plug & play” pneumatics subsystem controlled by CAN, for ATEs with Virginia Panel receiver. Thanks to this module, pneumatics actuators that are commonly used in the fixture side of an ATE, can be controlled. 10 3-way micro-valves are able to contorl 10 simple effect actuators or else 5 double effect ones. The module includes input for the position sensors. A pressure sensor is also included, so that the system air mains working pressure can be set between a minimum and a maximum.

The 6TL-08 base platform was designed to cover the most common testing and in-system programming (ISP) needs with a reduced initial budget. The system includes a robust manual linear push mechanism allowing a low-cost fixture strategy thanks to the exchangeable cassettes.The platform enclosure features an 8-Slot fixture receiver, compatible with VPC 90 Series Mass Interconnect Module, as well as 6TL intelligent YAVModules (YAV90MMU &YAV90059), with room for fast ISP devices, optional PXI chassis and various power supplies. A removable back panel allows easy placement of custom connectors or test auxiliary circuitry.
