Dissipation factor tand standards are designed for checking the accuracy of measuring capacitance and dissipation factor tand. A tand standard is basically a standard capacitor in series with a resistor. To avoid excessive resistance values, a capacitor with a negligible dissipation factor is used. Samgor has determined the following tand values for a measuring frequency 10-200H.
