Equipped with position encoders, the position control torque arm is an error-proofing system that detects and eliminates costly screw-fastening errors during the assembly process. The poka-yoke system reduces the risks of improperly fastening screws, ensuring that every screw is correctly tightened in the correct sequence. In critical applications, tightening fasteners in the correct sequence ensures the reliability of the joint. The position control system is like putting the eyes and ears of a quality control manager where they are needed most – right at each work station.

AD-Series -
Mountz Inc.
The DC control tool is a reliable robotic spindle system engineered for precise, accurate and repeatable torque control. The high performance automation fastening system allows manufacturers to optimize the assembly area, reduce labor costs and increase productivity. The robotic screwdriver system features built-in error-proofing data and screw counter. Multiple fastening strategies can be implemented for sensitive or of difficult assembly joints. Increase productivity as one tool can be programmed to do the job of multiple conventional tools; saving time, maintenance cost, space & training.

SWS SERIES -
Transducer Techniques, Inc
Our SWS Series reaction type socket wrench torque sensors are available in ranges from 10 ft-lbs. through 1000 ft-lbs. and provide accurate measurements of bolt or nut wrenching torques. These sensors are bi-directional so both tightening and break-away torques can be measured. These low cost sensors deliver high accuracy and outstanding frequency response. alibration of mechanical torque wrenches may be performed with this sensor. The sensing element incorporates bonded foil strain gages of the highest quality.

The position control telescoping torque arms help manufacturers detect and eliminate costly screw-fastening errors during the assembly process. Position Control telescoping torque arms are designed to reduce the risk of improperly fastened screws, ensuring that every screw is in the correctly tightened in the correct sequence. Using the EZ-Glider Position Control torque arm is like putting the eyes and ears of a quality control manager where they are needed most - right on the assembly area. The EZ-Glider Position Control telescoping torque arm consists of a torque reaction arm with encoders mounted at the base and a control box. The control box is used for programming and it tracks the axis movement by converting angle counts to the precise position of the screwdriver. The location is calculated from encoder values, allowing the operator to easily teach the torque arm a programmed sequence pattern and then use it to control the assembly process

RSS SERIES -
Transducer Techniques, Inc
Our RSS Series rotating socket wrench torque sensors are available in ranges from 10 ft-lbs. through 250 ft-lbs. and provide accurate measurements of bolt or nut wrenching torques. These sensors are bi-directional so both tightening and break-away torques can be measured. Unlimited rotation of the ball bearing supported sensor shaft allows monitoring of the total fastening cycle. The sensing element incorporates bonded foil strain gages of the highest quality, along with coined silver slip rings and two silver graphite brushes per ring for data transmission.

RTS SERIES -
Transducer Techniques, Inc
The RTS Series torque sensors were designed to fill the need for accurate torque measurements below 62.5 in.lbs. without giving up stiffness or sensitivity to forces from other directions. They are manufactured from sensor quality aluminum and anodized for long term durability. Bonded foil strain gages and materials of the highest quality are installed assuring high reliability. The four bolt hole pattern with the use of our O.D. or I.D. pilots on either end allows simple adaptation to any application.

DD series -
Ono Sokki
The DD series torque detector is the high-end equipment of the SS series to use in high speed measurement and large capacity measurement. It can be recommended to use in the heavy-duty application from DD-505 to DD-108. Double bearings provides three to five times the strength of our conventional torque detector under radial and thrust load, which enables direct coupling to automobile engines and saves the space as it makes a conventional intermediate bearing unnecessary. The oil drip lubricant (option) is necessary for the DD series.
