SR-28 -
Brainstorm Electronics Inc.
The SR-28 can drive time code over long cables, making it ideal for synchronization during live shows and remote recording. The SR-28 time code distributor, with two inputs and eight outputs, reshapes time code while distributing it, eliminating amplitude distortions and level fluctuations. The level of each output is individually adjustable via front panel pots. The input is selected via a front panel switch. Also included are 2 power inputs and an automatic switch over in case of failure.

GT658PCI -
Guide Technology, Inc.
GuideTech’s GT658PCI is an ultra-fast, high resolution, DC – 400 MHz Time Interval Analyzer (TIA), ideal for most PC-based lab bench (timing) test applications. What makes the GT 658 superior to traditional counters is analogous to the difference between volt meters & digital scopes. While both measure voltage, the scope provides much more information about the dynamics of the signal. This is because our patented TIA substantially increases measurement speed, and the measurements are displayed as afunction of time. All of these features, along with the benefit of ‘continuous time correlation to a common reference between all measurement time stamps,’ enable our TIAs to make measurements that weren’t previously possible with traditional counters.

Menlo Systems Gmbh
The Menlo Terahertz product portfolio (THz, also known as millimeter waves) covers time domain solutions in traditional pump-probe configurations, as well as solutions for imaging. The products for the time domain are ideally suited for fingerprint spectroscopy whereas the imaging instruments find their use in quality control and inspection.

multiLane
For testing cables and interconnects, we offer the ideal tool: A time domain reflectometer (TDR). Time domain reflectometry/transmission can be used to test network return loss (S11), propagation loss (S21), and crosstalk. Moreover, it can provide the impedance profile of an electrical channel. MultiLane supplies semi-automated solutions for the testing of direct-attach cables and TIAs.

ORTEC
A Time-to-Amplitude Converter (TAC) can achieve exceptional precision by using an analog technique to convert small time intervals to pulse amplitudes. When a timing application demands picosecond precision, a time-to-amplitude converter is a prime candidate. A time-to-amplitude converter is a productive solution for measurements less than 10 μs when time resolutions from 10 ps to 50 ns are required.

Real Time Digital Filters can be used to filter a measured signal in real time. Filter characteristics can be defined by the user to meet the requirements of a specific application. Real-time digital filters are applied in the data conditioning phase. The filters are designed with a graphic design tool and then uploaded to the front-end for real-time calculation. The graphic design tool defines the filter performance vertical axis with a dB scale. The horizontal axis is defined as relative frequency.

Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corp.
An optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) is a precision instrument used to locate events or faults along a fiber link, typically within an optical communications network. The OTDR launches a series of high speed optical pulses into the fiber to be measured. Various events on the fiber generates a Rayleigh back scatter that returns to the OTDR and the strength of the return pulses are measured and integrated as a function of time, and plotted as a function of fiber length. The horizontal axis is the distance and the vertical axis is the loss.
