  • Reference Cells

    Photo Emission Tech., Inc.

Reference cell is used for measuring and setting the intensity of solar simulators for one sun (or other user desired) intensity condition. They are also used to calibrate the IV Measurement system photo-detector intensity to match the measured ISC to calibrated ISC.

  • Solar Simulators

    ABET Technologies Inc.

Abet Technologies offer a wide range of ASTM, IEC, and JIS standards compliant solar simulators ranging from 150W to 3kW with one sun or greater illuminated field sizes from 50 x 50 mm to 35 x 35 cm. The direction of illumination, traditional down pointing, horizontal, or vertical up pointing can be specified at the time of ordering.

    TriSOL CPV - OAI

Concentrating Photovoltaics (CPV) has the promise of producing solar cells with high cell efficiencies, which result in a reduction in the cost of operating a PV module. However, a CPV system requires the integration of CPV solar cells, modules and CPV optics into one efficient system. OAI’s focus is CPV cell testing methodology. The CPV cells can now be tested using OAI’s advanced standalone CPV Simulators for low dose and high dose configurations. The low dose CPV Solar Simulator provides exposure up to 50 Suns, whereas, the high dose CPV Solar Simulator provides exposure up to 1500 Suns. The low and high dose simulators provide exposure in varying Sun concentrations in various beam sizes from 1.5cm x 1.5cm to 7.5cm x 7.5cm, and may be configured with OAI’s I-V Test Systems.

  • Solar Simulators

    Solar Light Company Inc.

Solar Light Simulators, or solar simulators, are precision research-grade instruments are specifically designed to comply with the latest laboratory standards from ASTM, IEC, ISO, and others. A wide selection is offered, from our patented Model 601 Multiport® SPF Testing 6-output Simulator to our single output units, which are available in 150W / 0.4″ (1 cm) output through 1000W / 6″ (15.25 cm) output, in UV, Air Mass, and Custom Spectra configurations. They can reliably produce UV levels several times stronger than tropical sun, without any of the associated heat load, which is ideal for measuring the damaging effects of UV during materials testing. These devices are well suited to a variety of applications including materials testing, in vitro and in vivo scientific research, PMMA plate pre-irradiation, academic studies, photobiological applications, and SPF testing, just to name a few.
