Keysight's vector signal analyzer and optical modulation analyzer software serves as the M8296A's user interface and enables a multitude of test and measurement tasks such as spectral analysis and digital demodulation for the analysis of signal quality metrics like error-vector magnitude. Radio Telemetry: A transmission of data from a remote source via a radio to a receiving station for recording and analysis. Inductance: A contactless method of supplying power to (in this case) a strain gauge bridge. The signal is then transmitted back to the electronics. Slip Ring: Consists of a conductive band mounted on a shaft and is insulated from it. The wheatstone bridge is connected to the bands (usually four off).
