  • Rotational Speed Sensors

    Micro-Epsilon Group

Rotation speed sensors are used to monitor, regulate and control mechanical drive systems and play a major role when it comes to protecting elements of a rotational system (e.g., in the engine, drive) from mechanical overload. Micro-Epsilon offers two sensor systems for rotation speed measurement. The capaNCDT CST6110 is a universal rotation speed sensor for counting tasks and rotation speed applications of any type. Moreover, the turboSPEED DZ140 measuring system is specifically designed for the detection of turbocharger rotation speeds.

  • Location-Aware IoT Sensors

swarm bee Family - nanotron Technologies GmbH

Location-Aware IoT sensors target the growing market for autonomous smart devices and cuts time to market for location-aware IoT products by 12 months. Very precise low-cost location and sensor technology can now be used without the need for RF-design capabilities or experience on low level drivers. swarm bee modules have a compact footprint providing a convenient form factor for customized tag designs. An antenna, a battery and housing are the only necessary external components to rapidly construct low power tags.

  • Tilt Position Sensors

    Positek Limited

Available with any measurement angle between 15 and 160 the P603 tilt sensor operates a gravity driven, oil damped pendulum with a very low settle time and durable housing. Our tilt sensor has proved popular in marine applications because like our linear and rotary sensors we have used highly durable and corrosion resistant materials. We also offer the S623 which is waterproof sealed for continual submersion to IP68 350bar, 5000psi, 3500msw

  • PIR Motion Sensors

EKMC (VZ) Series - Panasonic Electric Works Corporation

The EKMC Series “Low Profile” PIR Motion Sensor consists of a lens to create various detection zones, an optical filter to block non-infrared light, pyroelectric sensing elements, and an impedance converter to get an electrical signal. In addition, Panasonic also integrates an amplifier and comparator circuit on the same chip all densely packed inside the stem block. The “Low Profile” PIR Motion Sensors feature a one-chip ASIC design that is superior to discreet solutions by saving space, adding electromagnetic shielding to all circuitry and cutting down on the number of components required.

  • Hyperspectral Imaging Sensors

    Headwall Photonics, Inc.

HYPERSPEC® sensors are line-scanning instruments (sometimes called pushbroom) that collect reflected light through an image slit. One row of spatial pixels is collected per frame as motion occurs, with each pixel containing full spectral data. Motion can be accomplished in two ways: either as an airborne deployment (UAV, aircraft, or satellite) or stationary (where motion is accomplished beneath the sensor, such as a food inspection line). A third option is also available where pan-and-tilt or rotary stages allow a fixed-location sensor to scan a stationary object (such as a piece of artwork, or a mine face for geological applications).

  • Thermopile Detectors and Sensors

    Excelitas Technologies Corp.

Our Thermopile Detectors are typically Thermopiles with integrated Thermistor providing analog output in various packages. Special designs include built-in lenses or reflectors to enhance sensing performance, Isothermal constructions, or Dual narrow-band windows. Our latest Thermopile Sensors include specially designed electronic circuitry to provide calibration, digital output, and functionality. With the DigiPile, Excelitas offers a unique design for measurement applications. With its digital output, this device does not require any low noise amplification. The CaliPile family provides integrated features that enable measurement, as well as presence detection applications.

  • Vibration Sensors (HART)

    Meggitt Sensing Systems

The first smart HART vibration sensor for industrial environments. Are you ready to solve your vibration monitoring needs using one of the most popular and widely used industrial protocols today? Now, it's easier and more convenient to analyze vibration data on your critical rotating equipment using existing HART networks as part of your process automation, condition monitoring and machinery diagnostics application. Take advantage of our smart HART enabled sensors that provide many advantages including the ability to more accurately identify machine faults like unbalance, alignment, looseness and bearing wear condition.

  • CMOS Image Sensors

    STMicroelectronics

ST's sensors now address an increasing number of imaging applications in the automotive, security, gaming, medical and high-end traditional camera market. As a leading supplier in the wireless industry, ST is constantly innovating in all aspects of our product offer. Camera modules featuring extended depth of field (EDoF), where the consumer benefits from an enhanced imaging experience over a traditional fixed focus (FF) approach, was first industrialized by ST. Leveraging extensive system on chip (SOC) knowhow, a wide range of features can be integrated on the same silicon die as the pixel array including autofocus (AF) drivers and lens shading correction (LSC) algorithms, as well as innovative solutions, such as high dynamic range (HDR) technology, at an affordable cost.

  • Special Use Sensors

    Micro Measurements

Structures can, and do, break, and this may be important and sometimes dramatic. It’s critical to determine whether a particular object made from a particular material can carry a particular load. If a true stress is ignored, the cost of not acting is usually far higher than the cost of dealing with the problem earlier. A good example is in ductile materials. The crack moves slowly and is accompanied by a large amount of plastic deformation around the crack tip. The crack will usually not extend unless an increased stress is applied. Geometrical irregularities, such as cracks, sharp corners and holes – which many times are ignored – may raise the local stress.
