RF Coaxial Probes & Probe Positioner
Fairview Microwave’s line of coaxial RF probes and RF PCB probe positioner are ideal for use with chip evaluations, signal integrity measurements, coplanar waveguide, substrate characterization, gigabit SERDES and test fixture applications. The RF coaxial probes provide return loss better than 10 dB and a maximum operating frequency of 20 GHz. The probes have a 3.5mm female interface, a pitch of 800 or 1500 micron and they can be cable-mounted. They feature gold-plated contacts and can be used by hand, with or without a probe positioner. Compliant coaxial GSG (or GS) pogo pins allow for a broad range of probing angles. The RF PCB probe positioner can hold coaxial probes, has articulated joints and delivers multi-axis positioner control. The M-310 series of translation stages are our smallest micrometer-driven positioners. The carriage is spring preloaded against the micrometer tip for elimination of backlash. M-310 series stages are available in one-, two- or three-axis configurations. The latter consists of a two-axis stage, an angle bracket and a one-axis stage. Please note that an XY unit cannot be separated into two one-axis stages. The vertical stage in the M-313 XYZ assembly supports the load through the micrometer spindle (not the preload springs) providing excellent stability.

Micrometer Positioning Stages
Del-Tron offers a wide range of linear positioners. These micrometer positioning stages and crossed roller positioning stages are available with travels ranging from .25” to 2.0”. Tool Positioner Balancer
The Mini 31 balancer is a small, lightweight tool positioner that allows tools to be positioned over a work area for comfortable operation. The tool will remain at whatever level or position that it is left at. The operator can set the desired tension rate by simply placing a screwdriver into the slotted shaft and turning clockwise to increase tension and counterclockwise to decrease tension.

Positioner HD
The Positioner HD is a two-axis azimuth over elevation positioner, for precise angular positioning with full spherical coverage. Designed for antenna and RF device measurement, the positioner is built out of low-reflection materials, with additional RF shielding for minimal multipath and improved measurement accuracy. A slip ring is included to allow for continuous 360° rotation in both axes. This system is highly configurable, with options for RF rotary joints, slip rings for data communications, and custom sizing. An external motor controller is included by default with the Positioner HD. This motor controller connects to a computer via USB and includes an easy-to-use graphic interface. Other command options include automated macros, manual control knobs, Python, Matlab, or Labview interfaces, or direct control via ASCII commands. The controller also includes a digital I/O trigger system, for precise synchronization with other devices.

Cell Stand

The CS-3A Cell Stand is adopted with CHI series Electrochemical Analyzers and other apparatus directly. The cell is enclosed in a Faraday cage to reduce electrical interference. A built-in gas control allows purging a sample. Gas line is provided to purge next sample, while analyzing the present sample separately, thus increasing productivity. Magnetic stirrer allows for controlling the mixing of the sample for experiments requiring mass transport of electrolyte or analyte to the electrode surface. Cell top positioner with detachable cell cap allows easy removal and replacement of the cell vial as well as the electrodes for rinsing, cleaning, and replacement.
