DOP-201 -
General Photonics Corp.
The DOP-201 measures and displays the Degree of Polarization (DOP) of a light source in real time on the front panel display. The instruments incorporates a patented maximum & minimum search technique that accurately measures both low and high DOP. This technique is superior to polarimeter-based methods that are inaccurate at low values of DOP as well as scrambler-based methods which are less accurate at high values of DOP.

OZ Optics
OZ Optics offers a broad range of polarization maintaining components, patchcords, and connectors designed to resolve polarization problems, which are becoming increasingly important in today's higher speed and more complex mesh optical networks. By maintaining the polarization of the signal at its source, our polarization maintaining components minimize polarization mode dispersion and eliminate the effect of polarization dependent loss thereby increasing the quality of the signal that is transmitted throughout the network.

PXA-1000 -
General Photonics Corp.
The PXA-1000 Distributed Polarization Crosstalk (X-Talk) Analyzer is an enhanced white light interferometer that measures space-resolved stress by analyzing stress-induced polarization cross-coupling along a length of polarization maintaining (PM) fiber. The patented design eliminates strong zero-order interference and reduces the multi-coupling interference common in traditional white light interferometers, both of which can cause “ghost” peaks in the measured signal. The removal of the “ghost” peaks enables the PXA-1000 to unambiguously identify the magnitudes and locations of actual x-talk peaks, resulting in higher measurement sensitivity, higher dynamic range, and higher spatial measurement accuracy.

Metal Samples Company
Linear polarization resistance (rosion probes are commonly used in the water treating industry and other environments where instantaneous, on-line corrosion rate readings are required. Linear polarization probes are ideally suited to monitor fluctuations that may occur within a system; for example, these probes can be used to monitor corrosion inhibitor effects on a regular basis.
