  • SparkFun Opto-isolator Breakout

    SparkFun Electronics

This is a board designed for opto-isolation. This board is helpful for connecting digital systems (like a 5V microcontroller) to a high-voltage or noisy system. This board electrically isolates a controller from the high-power system by use of an opto-isolator IC. This IC has two LEDs and two photodiodes built-in. This allows the low-voltage side to control a high voltage side.

  • Charge Integrator Amplifiers

    AD8488 - Analog Devices Inc.

Analog Devices’ charge integrator amplifiers convert the charge acquired by X-ray or photodiode detectors to a voltage. The channels are composed of CMOS transistors, using typical high input impedance CMOS gates. The integrators generate charge dependent voltages using a range of selectable capacitance values that accommodate a broad range of input charge values. The integrators are followed by single-ended input to differential output voltage amplifiers where offset and low frequency noise voltages are subtracted from the input voltages.

  • DWDM High Power DFB Buttterfly Laser

    CA1782-XXX-XX-BT - UC Instruments, Corp.

The CA1782-XXX-XX-BT DWDM High Power DFB Buttterfly Laser component is characterized for use as a CW optical source in CATV and DWDM networks. The CA1782-XXX-XX-BT is dc-coupled with a built-in TEC, thermistor, and monitor photodiode. The device is mounted in a 14-pin, OC-48 pinout compatible butterfly package with the optical isolator mounted on the TEC. The CA1782-XXX-XX-BT incorporates a high efficiency coupling scheme to deliver 40 mW, 50 mW, 63 mW and 100 mW of CW optical power.

The LaserSource also has laser diode protection circuits such as interlock, ESD protection, and hardware limits for current and voltage.

  • Low Input Bias Current Amplifiers (<100 pA)

    Analog Devices Inc.

Low input bias current op amps are required whenever the difference of currents or voltage is small and needs to be measured accurately. These op amps are used so that the signal is not loaded down by the input of the op amps. Low input bias current op amps are critical for interfacing sensors in applications from photodiodes, pH meters, or other electrometer related functions to downstream electronics. Analog Devices has many precision op amps that fit the definition and range of these applications.

  • Femtosecond Pump - Probe Transient Absorption System

Hatteras - Del Mar Photonics, Inc.

The Hatteras is first professional system on the market for ultra fast transient absorption pump - probe spectroscopy. Two linear image sensors (multichannel detection) or two photodiodes (singlechannel detection) are placed behind an imaging spectrometer to measure probe and reference pulses, originating from a femtosecond white light (continuum) generator or from an optical parametric amplifier.

This is the most compact and fastest high-performance Near-Infrared [900 nm-1700 nm] Single Photon Detection module for asynchronous (free-running) and synchronous (gated) photon detection applications.

  • Photometers & Colorimeters

    Instrument Systems Optische Messtechnik GmbH

A photometer is used to measure the photometric quantities of illuminance (lx), luminous intensity (cd), luminous flux (lm), and luminance (cd/m²). The integral method and the fast response time of silicon photodiodes means that photometers can achieve an outstanding measuring speed. They are therefore ideal for performing fast goniophotometric measurements. We take great care in the development and production of photometer heads and use innovative amplifier technologies.

  • Optical Transimpedance Amplifiers

    Analog Devices Inc.

  • Adjustable Range Reflective Photoelectric Sensor

EQ-30 - Panasonic Industrial Devices Sales Company of America

The compact EQ-30 Adjustable Range Reflective Photoelectric Sensor is only 68 x 20 x 40mm but delivers amazing performance. Normal Reflective Type Sensors operate by sensing the variation in the amount of incident beam. However, the Adjustable Range Reflective Sensing Type Sensors, incorporate a 2-segment photodiode to sense variation in the incident beam angle. Thus, the output is activated according to the distance of the object from the Sensor. This system helps the EQ-30 Series to be unaffected by object color or a background, enabling stable sensing. The robust housing offers IP67 protection allowing the EQ-30 Sensor to be used in the most demanding industrial environments.

  • Streak Camera

    OptoScope S3C-1 - Optronis GmbH

The S3C-1 is a streak camera based on a semiconductor sensor. Like tube-based streak cameras, the S3C-1 captures changes in light along a line and records the change over time. To record the intensity values, they are sampled and stored with up to 2 GSamples/sec. The line is 65 µm wide and consists of 200 elements along its 5 mm length. Each element consists of a sensitive photodiode with a downstream amplifier.A new and special camera feature is continuous recording. This makes it possible to take recordings of events for which precise information about the time of their occurrence only becomes available after they have taken place. This "post-triggering" simplifies or allows certain applications.
