Particle Size Analyzers
Particle systems can be complex, but measuring them doesn’t have to be! Anton Paar offers two different technologies to characterize particles from the nanometer to the millimeter range. The Litesizer series employs light-scattering technology to determine not only particle size, but also zeta potential, transmittance, molecular mass, and the refractive index of nano- and microparticles in liquid dispersions. The PSA series uses laser diffraction technology to measure the size of particles in both liquid dispersions and dry powders in the micro and millimeter range. Side by side they open up a wide range of possibilities for comprehensive particle characterization.

Particle Counters
A particle counter is a useful tool for monitoring indoor air quality (IAQ) in clean rooms and workplaces, as a particle counter measures the concentration of particles in the air. ZETA-check
Particle interface potentials like the oscillating zeta streaming potential measured in the ZETA-check, represent the level of electrostatic repulsion between particles. The potential is generated by ionic end groups on particles and macro-molecules, respectively. With ZETA-check, the state of the actual charge of dispersions and macromolecular solutions is obtained within seconds. Solutions and dispersions from 0.3 nm up to 100 µm particle size qualify for measurement.
