Interface And Signal Processing Units
The interface and signal processing units extend the field of application of Micro-Epsilon sensors. The interface modules are used to convert sensor signals into digital or bus-compatible interfaces. This enables interfaces such as USB, RS422, Ethernet/IP, Profinet and EtherCAT for numerous sensors. The signal processing units are also used to record several sensor signals, to calculate and output them together. This is necessary, for example, for planarity measurement or thickness measurement.

The 40-754 is a 50Ω High Density RF switch available with 17 or 9 SPDT relays in a single PXI module. The 40-754 is available with two connector options; an SMB connector that provides a frequency range of 1.2GHz (useable to 1.8GHz) occupying two PXI slots, or an MS-M RF multiway connector which limits the bandwidth to 500MHz but offers a high density solution occupying one PXI slot. The RF switch design is identical in each case.

The 6-slot VXI portable rack is intended for use in modular measurement information systems based on the VXI version of the standard. The 6-slot portable VXI crate is designed to accommodate the system module, in the first slot and VXI instrumental modules placed in the remaining slots, to provide their electrical power supply, as well as to provide information interconnection via the VXIbus bus between the modules and with the control computer. The 40-616 16-Bank, 5-Channel, 1-Pole Multiplexer Module forms part of the System 40 PXI Programmable Switching system. The Module consists of 16 electrically isolated banks of multiplexers controlled by a PXI/ PCI interface. Each bank is a 1 to 5 multiplexer and operates with break-before-make action when a new channel is selected. Any Individual multiplexer bank can have a channel set by itself, alternatively, multiple banks can have channels selected simultaneously.
