Edmund Optics Inc.
Spectrometers are used to measure the properties of light for a variety of applications including environmental or chemical analysis, fluorescence, or Raman. Spectrometers are optical instruments that can detect spectral lines and measure their wavelength or intensity. Spectrometers are ideal for determining compositional makeup for detecting weak light signals. Spectrometers can also be used to test the efficiency of an optical filter in order to determine whether a filter has properly blocked or transmitted specific wavelengths.

pcibus1b -
PC Engines Gmbh
All important PCI bus signals routed to pin headers for easy connection of logic analyzer. Filter assistance for logic analyzer: D-FF to delay FRAME# by one cycle. To see actual PCI data transfers, filter for FRAME2# high + FRAME# low (address phase), or IRDY# low and TRDY# low (data phase). Business card size. Notched for 5V PCI bus (can be used on 3.3V bus with mechanical modification).

ProDAQ 3430 -
Bustec Ltd.
The ProDAQ 3430 is a 4-channel, sigma-delta ADC function card. Every channel contains front-end conditioning circuitry followed by a sigma-delta ADC. The bit stream from every ADC is then directed to finite impulse response (FIR) decimation filters. Users can activate up to 10 stages of the FIR filters. The filtered data from the selected stages is then stored in the FIFO. The data from the FIFO easily can be moved on-the-fly to the motherboard or to the host.

Roughness is an important parameter when trying to find out whether a surface is suitable for a certain purpose. Rough surfaces often wear out more quickly than smoother surfaces. Rougher surfaces are normally more vulnerable to corrosion and cracks, but they can also aid in adhesion. A roughness tester is used to quickly and accurately determine the surface texture or surface roughness of a material. A roughness tester shows the measured roughness depth (Rz) as well as the mean roughness value (Ra) in micrometers or microns (µm). Measuring the roughness of a surface involves applying a roughness filter. Different international standards and surface texture or surface finish specifications recommend the use of different roughness filters. For example, a Gaussian filter often is recommended in ISO standards.

NI
The NI‑5783 has DC‑coupled inputs with two variants: an elliptic filter variant optimized for frequency-domain applications and a Butterworth filter variant optimized for time-domain applications. The NI‑5783 is particularly well suited for applications in software defined radio, electronic warfare, high-performance machine control, and medical imaging. The NI‑5783 is compatible only with the PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO modules that have a Kintex‑7 FPGA and the stand-alone Controller for FlexRIO.
