Physical Contact Connectors
Amphenol Fiber Systems International
Physical Contact (PC) connections are characterized by the physical mating of two optical fibers. Precision ceramic ferrules are typically utilized for PC connections. A PC connection is accomplished by terminating the optical fiber into a precision ceramic ferrule. Epoxy is used to affix the fiber into the ferrule. The tip of the ceramic ferrule is polished in a precise manner to ensure that light enters and exits at a known trajectory with little scattering or optical loss. Polishing the terminated ceramic ferrule is a critical process in Physical Contact fiber optic connectors.

Intelligent 16 Bit Data Acquisition
CPCI-AD16
The CPCI-AD16 module provides a 3U high performance data acquisition subsystem. The Local DSP can be used to simply move data samples to the CPCI bus or can provide processing functions such as limit checking, FFT’s, digitalfiltering, etc. Application software can be downloaded to the DSP via the CPCI interface. Instrumentation amplifiers provide over-voltage protection, gain and filtering on a per channel basis. Internal scan and trigger clocks are derived from either the CPCI bus clock or the local DSP clock. Dual 32 bit timers can programmed to pace the acquisition process. The CPCI-AD16 can also accept external scan and trigger signals from a front panel connector.

Low Frequency 3-Way Power Dividers To 1500 MHz
Pulsar Microwave manufactures 3-way power dividers from 1 MHz to 1.5 GHz in both surface mount and connectorized packages. They are rated for an input power of 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.20:1 or better. This series of 3-way power dividers are currently offered in four outline packages.
