The A and C rows of a 96-pin DIN connector connect with the 64-pin user I/O connector (J4/P4) on the mezzanine card, permitting internal connection of rear I/O.

Furthermore, the reverse orientation of the card permits direct access to the standard front I/O (if any) within the host chassis.
