Switch Module
This module has 16 single or two pole relays arranged as four separate4x1 multiplexers as shown in the figure. The muxes may be operated and wired individually for up to 64 4x1"s per chassis, or jumpered together to form 8x1"s or 16x1"s or jumpered to the backplane to form up to a 256x1 mux or two 128x1 muxes. It is available with Type S, M or LT reed relays.

The Keysight 34946A microwave switch for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit offers bi-directional switching for test signals from DC to 26.5 GHz. The 40-553A-011 is a high current 6x2 matrix occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each matrix crosspoint uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each matrix switching path can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.
