Gas Meter Modules for Smart Gas Meters
The microthermal gas meter modules from Sensirion enable gas consumption to be reliably monitored in real-time. The modules boast long-term stability and dust and dirt resistance and have proven their mettle in the field for several years. In Germany and Italy, over 100''000 sensors have been integrated in microthermal gas meters. The advantages of the gas meter module make it the epitome of smart energy.

Flow Indicators
Flow indicator with rotor features a self-cleaning mechanism to ensure full visibility of the rotor at all times. Typical sight flow indicators suffer from poor indicator visibility through normal use from build-up that impedes observation of the rotor through the viewing window. Typically, for a sight flow indicator to be cleaned, it must be removed from the pipeline, cleaned and then replaced at some specified time, such as during plant shutdown. Unfortunately, dirt build-up does not typically schedule itself to correspond with planned shutdowns. Enter the KOBOLD DAA Series flow indicator. Simply twist the sight glass and the integral wipers clean the flow indicator's viewing area to allow unobstructed observation of the rotor. The offending contaminants are then simply washed away by the media flow. This process may be repeated as often as desired with no fuss and no downtime. The DAA is available with brass or stainless steel fittings with " to 1" NPT female threads. The DAA is also available without a rotor for observation of fluid condition.

positilt® Inclination Sensors
Inclination sensors measure inclination between 0 and +/-180 in a non-contact, wear-free and absolute way. Utilizing the MEMS technology, these sensors are extremely resistant to shock, vibration and dirt, and are therefore well suited for outdoor applications. Various sensor enclosure designs open possibilities for many different types of applications.

RFID
Radio-based RFID technologies in the HF (high frequency) and UHF (ultra high frequency) ranges supplement SICK’s industrial automation portfolio. In applications where process-relevant data is modified remotely, RFID makes it possible to store data on writable and rewritable media. And, in contrast to optical solutions, RFID provides reliable identification of all objects – despite dirt and everyday wear.

Linear Actuators
Electrak Pro
Thomson introduces our Electrak Pro Series of linear actuators. This family stands alone when it comes to the toughest and most demanding applications. Available in 12 or 24 VDC models with customizable stroke lengths up to 300 mm (12 in), these units can push or pull loads up to 4448 N (1000 lbf) at speeds of 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s) and hold loads up to 9000 N (2000 lbf), or contact our factory for longer strokes or higher loads. When space is scarce, where dust, dirt, and water are abundant and when solid, reliable and maintenance-free operation is a must - Electrak Pro is the answer.

Eddy Current Sensor
eddyNCDT 3001
The eddyNCDT 3001 is a new, efficient eddy current sensor whose compact dimensions have to date only been reserved for inductive sensors and proximity sensors. The temperature-compensated design provides high stability even in fluctuating ambient temperatures. The eddyNCDT 3001 comes with integrated electronics, offering an outstanding price/performance ratio and easy operation. The eddyNCDT 3001 eddy current sensor is ideally suited to OEM integration and machine building applications. The sensor is factory-calibrated for ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials, which eliminates the need for field calibration of the sensor. The eddyNCDT 3001 is available with connector or with integrated cable. A robust design combined with the eddy current measuring principle enables measurements in harsh industrial environments (oil, pressure, dirt). In addition, the eddyNCDT 3001 is suitable for offshore/marine applications (salt water).
