Waveguide cassettes provide easy way for the network analyzer calibration and material properties as dielectric permittivity or (and) magnetic permeability measurements. By changing insertion sections, it is possible to calibrate "Short" and "Thru". Optional cassettes with quarter wave "short" inserters are available. Using this waveguide cassette, it is possible to do vector network analyzer calibration or additional scalar network analyzer calibration. Injection Transformer

The injection transformer is presently the prevalent method for connecting the network analyzer to the circuit being tested, and is primarily used for control loop stability measurements. The goal of the transformer is to inject a signal into the control loop being measured, without impacting the performance of the loop. In order to accomplish this to a reasonable degree, The transformer is isolated and therefore is capable of floating on a high voltage, such as a Power Factor Corrector (PFC), which is often close to 400VDC. Measuring voltages that exceed the voltage rating of the FRA inputs require attenuation probes.

The Keysight 85130H test port adapter protects the test set port from being directly connected to the device under test. This adapter has a special rugged female connector that connects to the network analyzer test port. This special connector does not mate with a standard male connector but converts the rugged test set port to a connection that will mate with the device under test.
