Sound Level Calibrators

For sound level measurements in extreme conditions, at high altitudes or high demands on the accuracy of the measurement results, sound level meters should be checked prior to the measurement with a sound level calibrator. Also for calibration and verification of microphones in audio technology, you need a sound level calibrator, which is designed to produce several sound pressure levels at a fixed frequency characteristic. This calibrator has two switchable calibration steps.

Dual Temperature
The Fieldpiece Dual-Temperature Accessory, model ATH4, measures two temperatures simultaneously using the included k-type, wrap tab beaded thermocouples. The technology inside the ATH4 provides superior temperature compensation in rapidly changing environments commonly found while performing field service. Use the ATH4 to find Delta T and just about any temperature split you want to measure. Displays T1, T2 and T1-T2 on your Fieldpiece meter, handle or data logger. It is included with the HVAC Guide® System Analyzer to get target superheat and for the Target Evaporator Exit Temperature test. Fieldpiece offers a wide variety of k-type thermocouples for various HVAC specific applications. Use pipe clamp T/Cs with the ATH4 to check for blocked filters.

Physitemp’s Thermes high accuracy data acquisition system has been redesigned to create a more versatile USB model. The new system requires no internal connections to your computer and simply connects via an external USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Two versions of the data acquisition system are available. The standard version, THERMES USB, is connected to your computer USB port. The wireless version - THERMES USB WFI, can be either directly connected to a USB port or, with the included wireless receiver, positioned up to 100 feet from the host computer. Each unit will accommodate up to 7 type T thermocouple sensors and multiple Thermes units may be connected to the same computer for more thermocouple inputs. A high accuracy electronic cold junction compensation circuit maintains typical system accuracy of ±0.2°C over an ambient temperature range of 15 to 35°C.
