The 40-262 is a 3U PXI module range that supports 6 (in one slot), 12 or 18 (in two slots) channels of RTD simulation. Based on the 40-260 design principles the module can provide a setting resolution of <8mΩ (PT100) or <90mΩ (PT1000) and a resistance accuracy of better than 0.1% on all channels. Each simulation channel is able to provide a short or open circuit setting to simulate faulty wiring connections to a sensor. Calibration or verification of each resistor channel can be verified by using the calibration port connected to a high performance DMM and a supplied software package.

Teledyne LeCroy’s Summit™ T48 joins the Summit™ T416 as the second protocol analyzer to be released in its family of tools supporting the PCIe 4.0 architecture. The new Summit™ T48 protocol analyzer based on the PCIe 4.0 specification supports up to 16GT/s and up to x8 lane width for protocol analysis. Companies that are interested in testing PCIe 4.0 based I/O cards such as Storage Controllers, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, and others will now be able to get all of the protocol analyzer debugging features they need, while being able to better manage their costs. SSD storage applications will also benefit from the integrated support for SSD bus protocols such as PCIe/ NVMe/ SMBus/ NVMe-MI/ TCG and others. Each channel provides a low voltage output across two connector pins capable of providing ±20 mV with 0.7 μV resolution, ±50 mV with 1.7 μV resolution and ±100 mV with 3.3 μV resolution, covering most thermocouple types. For applications that require slightly higher voltages, there are also options that provide up to 250 mV, 500 mV, 1000 mV, 1500 mV and 2000 mV.

Among other things, solar array simulators are required for testing satellite power supplies. An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel. Optionally, the individual SAS modules are monitored by a Second Level Protection, so that the test object is not damaged in case of errors with the voltage sources. Additional circuitry is implemented via project-specific test modules. The signal path to the DUT can be separated, e.g. for dynamic current measurements.The Keysight Solar Array Simulators used were specially developed for satellite applications and cover the significantly higher requirements regarding the control speed of MPP tracking compared to terrestrial applications.
