The CT-3500 S2 is Vanguard’s second generation, stand-alone, digital, microprocessor-controlled, circuit-breaker timer. It measures the elapsed time from the instant a breaker coil is energized to the instant of opening or closing of a circuit-breaker’s dry contacts. In addition to timing a breaker’s contact response time, the CT-3500 S2 can also time relays or other switching functions that use an initiating trigger voltage (24-300 Volts DC or AC). The timer-triggering voltage starts three independent electronic timers. Each timer is individually stopped by its respective dry-contact closing or opening. The CT-3500 can fully analyze the timing of all circuit breaker operations (Open, Close, Open – Close, and Close – Open). These waveguide bandwidth detectors use silicon beam lead diodes on a planar stripline circuit to obtain an extremely rugged and compact device. Most millimeter wave broadband detectors have very poor VSWR due to the difficulty in obtaining a good wideband impedance match to the diode. To overcome this problem, these detectors utilize two diodes and an internal matched termination and 3 dB hybrid as shown below. This circuit allows a VSWR of 2.0 or better over a full waveguide bandwidth for most of these detectors. Detectors for waveguides WR-8 and smaller use a single zero bias GaAs diode. The high sensitivity zero bias GaAs diodes can also be special ordered for use at lower frequencies when highest sensitivity is required.

The XRP6124 is a non synchronous step down (buck) controller for up to 5A point of loads. A wide 3V to 30V input voltage range allows for single supply operations from industry standard 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 24V power rails. With a proprietary Constant On-Time (COT) control scheme, the XRP6124 provides extremely fast line and load transient response while the operating frequency remains nearly constant. It requires no loop compensation hence simplifying circuit implementation and reducing overall component count. These outputs are intended to be directly connected to most analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) or spacecraft housekeeping analog inputs (0-5 V range), which makes minimal demands on the host vehicle. The Microdosimeter incorporates a test function to allow electrical testing of the hybrid without the need for a radiation source.
