Wavefront Modeling And Simulation
The CAST-CRPA Simulation Systems provide a precise, coherent, and repeatable GNSS RF signal “wavefront”, that is a perfect solution for testing phased array, or “CRPA” antenna systems, in a laboratory environment. The system generates a complete set of RF signals for each antenna element, which are referenced to the phase center of the antenna manifold. Driven by an AC excitation source, the LVDT generates a pair of AC output signals modulated according to the core's mechanical position (displacement). These transducers have low hysteresis and excellent repeatability.

In certification laboratories for photovoltaic modules, steady-state solar simulators are mostly used for stabilization / light soaking tests (MQT 19) and hot-spot endurance tests (MQT 09) according to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730. This type of solar simulator uses Xenon high pressure arc lamps as light source.
