High Frequency Clock Divider Board

Clock Divider is designed to divide high frequency signals, up to 2.5GHz, from 4 to 256 times. It will accept single ended (Unbalanced) or differential (Balanced) signals with amplitudes as little as 100mV rms. The clock division is controlled by 4 shunt jumpers. The circuit can be disabled and the divide by counter reset with 2 control signals. The on board regulator will accept voltages from 4.85 to 15.0V. The output is capable of driving 700mV Peak to Peak into 50 Ohms.

It is suitable for online /off line PD tests on : large diameter cables ; grounding rod bar ; etc. A TNC termination is available to connect the Clamp HFCT 140 to the TechImp PD analyzer : PDCheck , PDBase etc. The arrow indicates the requested input current (Iin) direction to get coherent output voltage (Vout) polarity respect to ground. When the sensor is installed with the arrow directed to ground, the detected voltage signal (Vout) has the same phase of the input current (Iin).

The RA062-F2 is a multiple LO module used to generate three pairs of LO signals, each pair being phase matched in order to provide the capability to drive two phase and amplitude matched, high sensitivity narrowband receivers such as might be required for an EW receiver system with DF functionality.The Stepped Frequency Synthesiser is based upon Direct Frequency Synthesis, DFS, whereby the 1GHz input reference signal is multiplied, filtered and mixed to generate a given number of isolated and filtered single tone CW signals from the 1GHz comb. A finely tuned signal is then generated using a multi-way switch to select between the 1GHz spaced CW tones and mixed with fine resolution signals generated using a custom DDS/VCO PLL network. In this way finely tuned signals can be generated between 7.5GHz and 23GHz.
