The PCI102 allows testing of AMC.1, AMC.2 and AMC.3 modules in a PC environment during development and manufacturing; reducing the costs associated with maintaining different platforms. The PCI101 is a PCI-X edge style carrier with PCIe x4 lanes going to the AMC module. The AMC.1 module connects to the host PC’s PCI-X bus via a PCI-X to PCI ebridge. The AMC.2 module’s GbE ports are routed to RJ-45s. The AMC.3 differential pairs are routed to two SATA connectors. ThePCI102 is available with an optional VT001 IPMI controller which can test the AMC IPMI management functionality. The IRU152 is powered by the low-power NXP i.MX 6 UltraLite processer. It can withstand an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and up to 2G of vibration for operating in harsh environments. Furthermore, it supports NI LabVIEW to allow users to design graphical user interfaces for their measurement applications quickly and efficiently. In order to provide data collection and device control, the IRU152 comes with various I/O connectors, including four analog input (AI) channels, one isolated RS-232/422/485 port, one isolated LAN and one isolated DIO (2-in/2-out). The four analog input channels have differential input configuration and overvoltage protection of 55V DC. Data Acquisition Module
The CPCI-AD16 module provides a 3U high performance data acquisition subsystem. The Local DSP can be used to simply move data samples to the CPCI bus or can provide processing functions such as limit checking, FFT’s, digitalfiltering, etc. Application software can be downloaded to the DSP via the CPCI interface. Instrumentation amplifiers provide over-voltage protection, gain and filtering on a per channel basis. Internal scan and trigger clocks are derived from either the CPCI bus clock or the local DSP clock. Dual 32 bit timers can programmed to pace the acquisition process. The CPCI-AD16 can also accept external scan and trigger signals from a front panel connector.
