Conformal Coating Inspection
Conformal coating plays a key role especially when electronic assemblies are used in products and systems that perform safety-relevant tasks. The coatings applied to the circuit board protect against environmental influences such as dirt, dust, moisture, condensation, and varying temperatures. Increasing packing densities and the trend toward miniaturization are also making conformal coatings essential. Extendible Test Leads
The Extendable Tip Probe permits testing in those hard to reach areas. The tips are fully insulated with durable Kynar. This prevents accidental shorting of adjacent components. The tip is stainless steel and is very sharp, allowing for penetration of conformal coatings. The rubber lead is 18 gauge, 48" long.

The precision photolithography and non-chemical etching process provides clean edges to assure uniformity from coil to coil. By using quartz and applying a polyimide coating we produce a device that eliminates the need for conformal coating or staking. Inductors can be epoxied down with nonconductive epoxy and the wire bonded for connection.
