The PIXEA is a high-quality laser system for OEM and R&D applications generating ultra-short optical pulses by using gain-switched laser diode technologies. The laser features high-quality picosecond laser pulses with no satellite pulses and minimize pulse tail. The PIXEA series offer a large variety of centered wavelengths between 375 nm and 2 um. The pulse duration down to 20 ps is optimized for each wavelength. The system is based in two modules or one module, the laser head and the dedicated Control Unit including the GUI software. Different optical output options are available, including free space collimating optics and fiber coupled.

LED light sources in the LS-MC1 series provide a constantly growing selection – currently amounting to over 20 – of narrow band single wavelength LEDs with a bandwidth of 15-50 nm FWHM, allowing precise work in a defined wavelength range. As a result of optimized optical coupling into the optical fiber – as with all of our light sources – with our LS-MC1 series we have achieved the highest possible luminance. The advantage of directly emitting monochromatic LEDs is their very high level of efficiency, because the entire radiated output is in the useful wavelength range.

Simply aim the laser beam at a reflective mark placed on a rotating device, push the button and the RPM reading is immediately displayed. No contact with the shaft or wheel is necessary. The laser beam is not affected by shop light and can detect RPM from longer distances of up to 6 feet away. The #332 can measure up to 99,999 RPM in 1 RPM increments. It can be used to measure RPM on coil-on-plug and diesel engines, where conventional inductive tachometers can not be used.
