The Radio Frequency (RF) Scoring Tool (RFST) takes the guess work out of RF environment simulation. During RF environment simulation, the RFST provides clear persistent scoring and recording of the RF simulator’s performance. The RFST digitizes all RF signals in the form of digital Pulse Descriptor Words (PDWs) and associated In-phase/Quadrature (I-Q) data. This massive data stream is recorded for later (Post-Scenario) Analysis. The USRP Software Defined Radio Reconfigurable Device is built on the LabVIEW reconfigurable I/O (RIO) and universal software radio peripheral (USRP) architectures. It includes a powerful FPGA for advanced DSP that you can program with the LabVIEW FPGA Module. The device includes 2x2 MIMO transceivers or four-channel superheterodyne receivers, supporting center frequencies from 10 MHz to 6 GHz, with up to 160 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth. The Vector-Finder Series of VHF direction finding antennas provide a compact, lightweight, active antenna, suitable for use in the field with handheld transceivers and scanning radios. The mechanical design allows the sense antennas to be folded back to provide a compact unit, easily stowed or transported in any vehicle. The system interfaces with any FM receiver or transceiver via the antenna jack and the earphone jack. Several different models are available to suit your pocketbook or unique field application, all of which operate on the phase shift technique. The VF-142Q models incorporate left-right indicators as well as an audible response from which the user can determine the true direction of the radio signal. The other types utilize the audible response generated by the equipment and heard on the user’s receiver or transceiver. All models operate from a 9-volt battery.
