The "GOLD PROBE" has been designed specifically for use with Tektronix, Hewlett Packard and other high performance oscilloscopes. This new slim design along with a host of versatile accessories, allows you to reach the most difficult test point in today's highly complex circuitry. The gold plated Probe Tips, Sprung Hook, Ground Lead, Alligator Tip and other critical interconnect points within the Gold Probe, provide excellent contacts for probing low level analog signals and high speed digital data. Unlike most "off shore" commodity probes, Probe Master guarantees quality and continuing domestic support for our "Made in America" Gold Probe.The probe body is made of high impact ABS. The Model 990 Series Magnetreaters® are highly accurate, pulse type, ringing demagnetizers (also called treaters) for the controlled stabilization of permanent magnets and permanent magnet assemblies. Regardless of line voltage stability, they provide a controlled output through continuous pulse amplitude regulation. Treating voltage is variable from 0 to 600 VDC. Additional energy can be added to the Model 990 Series by interconnecting a Model 992 Energy Booster. The energy level is increased from 18 to 36 watt-seconds. With this option, treating coils will produce higher demagnetizing fields and lower ringing frequencies, which can provide greater field penetration in some applications.

Accepted internationally 1 kHz represents the "0 dB" reference point of A, B, C Weighting and other filters utilized in acoustic measurement. The Pistonphone - a mechanical sound source - offers a slightly higher degree of accuracy at a substantial increase in cost. In addition, the 200 or 250 Hz operating frequency is mechanically limited and not suited for measurements of filtered inputs. The 0.2 dB accuracy is quickly lost in the 0.7 to 1.5 dB tolerances acceptable for weighting filters at frequencies around 250 Hz.
