  • Electron Multiplication (EM) Standard Image Sensors

    Teledyne e2v

EM (Electron Multiplication) is a technology that uses on-chip gain in the charge domain to effectively eliminate read noise from an image sensor. This enables advanced ultra-low light applications that require extreme sensitivity at fast frame rates. Examples include life science applications such as single molecule detection, super resolution microscopy and spinning disk confocal microscopy along with physical science applications such as nanotechnology imaging, Bose Einstein condensates and soft X-ray spectroscopy, and astronomy applications such as adaptive optics and lucky imaging. The inclusion of an additional conventional output allows further flexibility for applications such as true 24 hour surveillance.

  • *Divergent Light Measurement

    mks Ophir

The IS1.5-VIS-FPD-800 & IS1.5-IRG-FPD-800 contain 2 photodiodes: a calibrated photodiode for precise power measurement using Ophir meters and a fast photodiode with integral reverse bias circuit for temporal characterization using third-party instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Their small, 1.5" internal diameter preserves the temporal shape of pulses down to 3.5 nsec for VIS and 6 nsec for IRG. An SMA fiber optic connector is provided for connection to a spectrometer. The large, 20 mm input aperture allows for wide acceptance angles and long working distances, making these spheres well suited for testing VCSELs and other types of laser.

  • Picosecond Laser

    PIXEA - AUREA Technology

The PIXEA is a high-quality laser system for OEM and R&D applications generating ultra-short optical pulses by using gain-switched laser diode technologies. The laser features high-quality picosecond laser pulses with no satellite pulses and minimize pulse tail. The PIXEA series offer a large variety of centered wavelengths between 375 nm and 2 um. The pulse duration down to 20 ps is optimized for each wavelength. The system is based in two modules or one module, the laser head and the dedicated Control Unit including the GUI software. Different optical output options are available, including free space collimating optics and fiber coupled.

  • Three-Phase Smart Socket

WECO 3230 - Radian Research, Inc.

Utilize the RW-3X's features while on site in the van, as well as back at the shop with the WECO 3230 Three-Phase Smart Socket. The 3230 features built-in laser optics, Smart Socket™ technology and automatic meter form selection. Connect the RW-3X to the 3230 side panel using the included cables and the RW-3X Winboard Embedded software automatically sets the meter form, which will then populate on the WECO 3230 LCD display panel, and now you are ready to test. Not only does the 3230 make testing meters a snap, but it expands the current capability of the RW-3X to a full 50 amps, allowing the user to test class 320 amp meters.

  • One Axis Differential Interferometer

    10719A - Keysight Technologies

The Keysight 10719A One Axis Differential Interferometer makes either a differential linear or angular measurement for use in single and multiple axis applications. The linear measurement gauges the displacement between two objects, such as a stage and an optical column or inspection tool. The 10719A also measures either pitch or roll. An angle is measured when both reference and measurement beams measure to the same mirror. The 10721A provides high immunity to unwanted interferometer displacement, such as thermal expansion. It is a modular, compact design with monolithic optics for maximized mechanical stability. Use of a small 3 mm beam helps decrease Abb offset error.

  • Interferometer

    S100|HR - Apre Instruments

CNC polishing puts new demands on metrology tools. Many of these optics are aspheric with tight tolerances. The new machines can produce almost any surface and require a new level of metrology to provide feedback to the polishing process. This just cannot be done with outdated interferometers designed over 30 years ago. The S100|HR has the performance it takes, without breaking the bank. Measure 10X higher fringe densities to enable final figuring to begin sooner, saving you time and money. Plus measure these high density fringes 5X more accurately to enable large polishing corrections that converge quickly to final figure, including aspheres.

  • Optical Switches

    DiCon Fiberoptics, Inc.

This latest technology platform presents the best value in terms of size, form factor, durability, and cost. The design of our MEMS optical switch centers on DiCon's proprietary dual-axes tilting MEMS mirror and is expandable up to a 1x36 switch configuration. Large fan-out 1xN optical switches and non-blocking fan-out/fan-in NxM matrix optical switches are built by cascading multiple of these 1xN switches. The MEMS 1xN fiber optic switch passes the stringent Telcordia GR-1221 qualification and is vastly deployed in today’s optical communication networks. With a lifetime of over a billion cycles, the durability of this MEMS device makes it a perfect choice for optical network monitoring applications that require frequent switching.
