The VF-145 LA and LMA models are functionally the same as the VF-145 L and LM on both electrical performance and mechanical specifications. However, the LA and LMA models include an internal PIN diode attenuator that provides up to 12 dB of attenuation (measured at 150 MHz, attenuation decrease slightly as operating frequency increases) to the incoming radio signal. This attenuation occurs after the signal is received by the unit and phase shifted for processing, but before it is placed on the coax feedline to the receiver. In addition, the PIN diode utilized will absorb short burst of RF should transceivers be keyed accidentally by the user. This feature aids in very strong signal DF operations but will not totally guarantee against system overload under very strong RF emissions.

The results of the measurement are transmitted with 1/10 mm resolution via a digital or serial interface to a PC or a PLC which now can place the object into the desired position. Highly integrated breakout board for the ST Micro VL6180X Time of Flight (ToF) range finder sensor. This sensor has many uses in the robotics, cell phone and gesture recognition space. It has two programmable GPIO pins, and most importantly, measures absolute distance up to 100mm. The SEN-36001 includes a VL6180X IC centered between two 4-40 sized mounting holes with onboard 2.8V LDO and voltage translation to handle interface voltages from 3V to 5V. The board is interfaced via an I2C interface and all IC pins have been broken out to a 0.1" pin header. Example code for the Arduino platform is available below and includes code for both the proximity measurement and ambient light sensing capabilities.
