The BCS-LABCAR is a high-precision Battery Cell Simulator that emulates the behavior of individual battery cells and packs across a wide range of challenging operating conditions, e.g. cell balancing over-charging, deep discharging, or pulse operation. The system is highly modular and thus scalable to emulate battery packs from a single cell all the way up to 200 cells.

Battery Impedance Meter

Operation is fast and simple. Just press the spring-loaded probes onto the two poles of the battery. After 1.5 seconds, the unit beeps (indicating good contact) and displays the battery voltage and either the number of siemens or milliohms, depending on the knob setting. The display continues to show these numbers after the probes are removed; it resets only when the probes are pressed onto the next battery. The impedance and voltage of any battery between 1.2 and 60 volts can be read. Because of the wide range of voltages, even single low-voltage cells, such as NiMH, can be measured. The manufacturers of some batteries specify impedance in milliohms while other specify in siemens (one divided by the resistance in ohms). This meter will display both types of impedance for any given battery. Accuracy is +/- 2% of the value.

Battery load bank BLU-T is a powerful and lightweight solution designed for condition assessment of telecommunication and radio equipment backup supply. This instrument can perform the battery capacity test on battery strings such as Pb, Li-ion, Ni-Cd, and others. It tests battery strings with voltages in the range of 0,9 – 70,5 V DC. As a special feature, the BLU110T model enables capacity testing of single PB, Ni-based as well as Li cells (with current up to 100 A).The capacity test is conducted in an accurate, user-friendly way. Also, it is in accordance with battery testing standards: IEEE 450-2010, IEEE 1188-2005, IEEE 1106-2015, IEC 60896-11/22, and other relevant standards.BLU-T battery load bank enables setting the discharge current up to 350 A, with 0,1 A resolution. If higher currents are required, the BLU-T units can be connected in parallel, or BXL-T additional load units can be linked.The instrument offers a high power-to-weight ratio.
