These RF Front-End ICsare placed right at the antenna element and can quickly switch between transmit and receive functions in radar applications. The power amplifier on the transmit side is highly efficient operating in short pulse durations. The low noise amplifier on the receive side has a low noise figure with high linearity so that it won’t distort the incoming return signal.
