Medium density PXI dual 46x4, 1-pole matrix - it is also available inreed relay formats of 2-pole and 1-pole screened (see "also in this range" on right). The screened version is suitable for switching signals up to 50MHz. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE and data acquisition systems. The two banks may be used for operating a 4-wire measurement system (bank-1 for source, bank-2 for measure). Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40/42-877A modules. The module has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost.

The 40-725 is an 8x9 RF Matrix Module suitable for switching frequencies up to 500MHz (50Ω version). The 40-725 is available in either 50Ω or 75Ω versions with SMB coaxial connectors. Automatic Isolation Switches are located on all coaxial connections, these disconnect the matrix from the external test fixture maximizing isolation and RF performance.

The 40/42-785C range of multiplexers are available in single or dual, SP6T or SP4T configurations with relays mounted on the front panel. Remote versions are also available which can support up to three multiplexers in a single slot.
